Doug utilizes his Celebrate Recovery testimony to share his struggle with pornography, lust, and sex addiction. He shares the history and foundation of his life that built pathways that developed into addiction.

He highlights the negative choices that he made as well as the chaos of living in addiction. He shows the grace that others can show as well as the true freedom that is possible in getting the help needed.

He is currently sober from alcohol and sex by staying involved in programs that are designed for sex addicts. His story will show how no one is too far gone from the love of Christ and the redeeming power of God.   We can all find hope in recovery through honesty and reliance on others.

Castimonia Purity Podcast Episode 19: Nate Larkin, Founder of Samson Society

Nate Larkin is the founder of the “Samson Society” and the author of “Samson and the Pirate Monks” (www.natelarkin.com and www.samsonsociety.com)

He shares his powerful story as well as his involvement with the “I am Second” movement. His video testimony has taken his story to countless men that struggle in similar ways. 

He is dedicated to establishing real community for men to be able to find help.

He discusses how sex wasn’t his problem, but it was the solution that he chose for his real problem. We, as addicts, need to find ways to stop our medication choices, but more importantly, find the roots of our problems.

He suggested the use of the “R Tribe” app (http://www.rtribe.org/) for those in recovery from any condition, and he seeks to be a man that has a story of God’s radical change. That radical change is possible in all of us.

Castimonia Purity Podcast Episode 17: Andy’s Testimony – A Spiritual Awakening for Pornography Addicts

Andy discusses the power of God in his life in finding healing from addiction to pornography. He discusses his childhood and life-long struggle with pornography and lust.

He highlights the dangers that pornography brought to his life as well as the efforts used to try to stop over and over.

He found healing and true freedom when he decided to let go of his control and his addiction to his higher power. He speaks of his immediate transformation and some of the revelations from God about how he could live as a new creation. 

He highlights his need for others and for sharing the good news to others, so he can stay continually free from the use of pornography.

Castimonia or other 12-step programs are not the only way to find healing from pornography and sex addiction, and Andy testifies to the power of turning our lives over to the care of God.
