Castimonia Meeting at Rick’s Ranch – Saturday, September 15, 2012

September 15, 2012 – Castimonia at Rick’s Ranch On Saturday, Steptember 15, 2012, Castimonia will NOT be meeting at The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch.  The church will be holding a parent’s summit that Saturday.  Castimonia will meet at Rick’s Ranch near Sealy, TX.  We will have food & fellowship at 9:30am and then our regular meeting at 10am.  Afterwards, we will have some time to unwind for more fellowship.  We should be finished by 12:30pm but you may leave earlier if needed.

July 30th Monday Night Meeting Temporary Location Change

Due to The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch’s Fun Fest (VBS) to be held in the evenings beginning Monday, July 30th, the Castimonia Men’s Sexual Purity Support and Recovery Group meeting will be moved to Grace Fellowship United Methodist Church which regularly hosts the Thursday night meeting.  All information is written below.  The Monday night meeting will return to it’s original location the following Monday.  Please note the change and sorry for the inconvenience!

MONDAY, JULY 30th – MEETING LOCATION CHANGE:
 This change will only affect the Monday, July 30th meeting.  It will return to it’s usual location on Monday, August 6th.

KEN WELLS is a certified professional counselor specializing in treating sexual addiction and the treatment of sexual offense behavior at Psychological Counseling Services in Scottsdale, Arizona. He served for more than 20 years as a pastor. He and his wife Eileen have three children. He’s a founding member of Interfaith Sexual Trauma Institute and serves on the executive board of New Hope Educational Foundation.

Castimonia Anniversary Celebration – Open Meeting Notice

Gentlemen,

As we celebrate two years of service (June 12, 2010 – June 12, 2012) to our Lord Jesus Christ this Saturday, June 16th, I would like to remind you that this meeting will be an “open meeting.”

An open meeting simply means that there will be men at this meeting who have not openly acknowledged a struggle with maintaining sexual purity or having a sexual addiction.  As we all know, almost every man struggles with some sort of sexual purity issue, however, not every man is required to be open in admitting this issue.  I have invited the church’s pastoral staff and elders to this meeting as well as various therapists from around the Houston area.

I hope the regular attendees to the Saturday morning meeting will make an extra effort to attend this open meeting in celebration of 2 years of service for God in the realm of sexual purity. Please feel free to invite any man you know over the age of 18, even if they say they don’t struggle with sexual purity. Attending an “open” meeting may help them ease into their own recovery rather than thinking they are attending a meeting for sex addicts.

Castimonia Thursday Night Meeting

Just a reminder to everyone that we are starting a third weekly Castimonia meeting on Thursday nights!  The meeting will be held “off campus” at another church who was gracious enough to donate one of their rooms for this Men’s Sexual Purity Support & Recovery group!
