Kevin was a listener of the podcast, and he felt he wanted to share his story with other listeners.  After nearly of month of sobriety, he wants his story to help other connect in order to find healing.  His story walks through his life, addiction, and the pitfalls that life brought him.  There are many elements of his story that may help others feel that are not alone in their struggles and that healing is in fact possible. 

In this episode he picks up from where the addiction ended and true healing began.  There are bumps and slips along the way, but listen to hear how he found healing in this process. 

Our hope is that others find connection points to his testimony to find their own path to healing and sobriety.

Ben and Doug discuss the power of the progression in working Steps 4-7.  Ben utilizes some real life issues that have come up that can brew into resentments.  These are often caused by fear and pride issues.  So being aware helps us in recovery start to turn those over to a higher power.

They also discuss the patterns of thinking that can continually damage relationships, like having to “be right.”  The ability to try to control someone else’s emotions can rob our own joy and serenity.
