If you have been frustrated by numerous failed attempts at sobriety, take heart. The answer is to recognize your Source. Perhaps you’ve heard this little verse before: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
Recovery Step: Author Wilbur Howard wrote, “The future belongs to those who set their sights on what is humanly unattainable.” That includes recovery. You can do this. Actually, you can’t. But God can.
