You are probably familiar with the story of Samson. When he revealed the secret of his strength to Delilah, it resulted in his capture and humiliation at the hands of the brutal Philistines. But that is not the end of the story. If you keep reading, you find this gem of a verse:

“However, the hair of his head began to grow again after it was shaved off” (Judges 16:22).

We learn two valuable truths here:

• God forgives.
• God restores.

But restoration is a process, not an event. Samson didn’t go from bald to hairy in a day. The Scripture says, “The hair of his head began to grow again.”

Key word – began 

You have probably lived an imperfect life. I’d bet my neighbor’s house on it. But we serve a God who forgives and restores. Today, let that process begin. Surrender completely to Christ, and your hair will begin to grow back.
