Current List of In-Person Castimonia Meetings 06-15-2020

As you all know, the Corona virus has limited the way we engage in our recovery and we have had to move our meetings to Zoom.

However, as churches open back up, we would like to post a list of meetings that are currently meeting face-to-face for those that would like to attend an in-person meeting.

If you do not feel safe attending an in-person meeting or you feel ill or have a temperature, we encourage you to attend one of our Zoom meetings which will remain operational for the foreseeable future. You can inquire about the Zoom meeting links by sending an e-mail to info@castimonia.org.

Castimonia Monday & Saturday Face-to-face Meetings Restart, June 1st!

On Monday, June 1st The Fellowship will reopen it’s doors to face-to-face groups including Castimonia. This includes the 7pm Monday night Castimonia meeting and the 10am Saturday morning Castimonia meeting both at The Fellowship. There will be some requirements for these meetings initially.

  • Masks should be worn while in the church. Please bring your own mask. The church will provide some if needed.
  • Hand sanitizers will be available once you enter the building. Please use them upon entry.
  • Keep physical distance. The facilitator will set the chairs farther apart than normal.

During this transition time, Zoom meetings will continue at their regular time. Most likely, the facilitator leading the face-to-face meeting will bring their phone or laptop to the meeting and include those members calling in via Zoom.

People Are Asking God “Why?” – Joe Dallas Webinar

The Church Has Answers. Will We Give Them?

You might be surprised to know how many women and men in our congregations are asking these questions. If they get no answers from the church, they’ll certainly get some from the world.

That’s how it all ends.

It’s how marriages that God put together end, torn asunder because someone gets told they should embrace their feelings over covenant. It’s how spiritual growth ends, because someone gets told their attractions, not their identity in Christ, define who they really are. It’s how Biblical discernment ends, because someone gets told to put desire above doctrine, and wants above the Word.

But that’s not how it has to end! There are answers to the honest questions gays and lesbians have, and we can hardly call ourselves relevant, much less salt and light, if we won’t give them.

That’s why on Wednesday, June 3 at 12 Noon PST I’ll be hosting a 60-minute webinar on how to answer when someone asks “Why Am I Gay? Why Can’t
I Change?”

  • Outcomes: What happens when people try to change?
  • Opportunities: How can we develop effective ministries for people who want help?

Registration is $19.99, and registrants will receive a complimentary E-book on the topic and access to a recorded version of the webinar.

Plus, an additional 30 -minutes Q & A session will follow the webinar for those who want to stay and have individual questions answered.

Registration cutoff time is Wednesday, June 3 at 11:45am PST. Anyone registering after that time will receive a full video of the entire webinar, but late registrants will not be able to view the webinar during it’s live airing.

REMINDER: Pearland In-person Meeting Official Restart

The Pearland Castimonia meeting is now meeting in-person at St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

FYI, We have been approved to meet (indoors) at St. Andrews church following basic guidelines (personal distancing, masks if desired, hand sanitizer, etc.).
